Dodge City Roundup PRCA Rodeo – “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” Wrangler Jeans Program
In 2007 Circle of Hope Cancer Support Group became the designated local organization to receive funds from the promotion of the “Wrangler Jean Program-Tough Enough To Wear Pink” (TETWP), sponsored by the Dodge City Roundup PRCA Rodeo. Roundup raises money during the 4-day rodeo event through corporate sponsorships, selling pink items at the TETWP Booth and passing the hat in the rodeo stands. The purpose is to support the fight against breast, and other forms of cancer. The funds are used locally to help cancer patient with financial assistance for mileage, medical expenses, and other related expenses associated with the patient needs. Because of this outstanding promotion, the Circle of Hope has been able to help many cancer patients by providing monetary assistance.
